The Peasants Rebellion is the official mission disc for Knights & Merchants. It is standalone and contains the original game as well as many new missions, with 34 different maps in total. There are 2 campaigns with 34 missions in total, a Skirmish mode (free play without a defined mission), more than 25 buildings, 10 military units and 10 worker units. Screen resolutions are supported up to 1280x1024 and up to 6 players can compete over a network (IPX, TCP/IP, Internet, Modem to Modem, and Serial Link).

Knights and Merchants: The Peasants Rebellion (abbreviated to TPR) is a historical Real-time strategy game, developed by Joymania Entertainment (since changed to Joymania Development) and published by TopWare Interactive. The scenery is inspired by the Anglo-Saxon period, circa 1000 AD. You play the role of the palace guard captain whose goal is to win back all of the lost provinces that once belonged to your beloved king.
Knights and Merchants: The Peasants Rebellion is commonly referred as a gold edition or an expansion pack for its prequel, Knights and Merchants: The Shattered Kingdom. It is a stand-alone game, but includes all of the missions from the original (strangely the Russian release of the game doesn't seem to include the original campaign) as well as a brand new campaign that consists of 14 missions, a scenario mode with 10 different scenarios, and new buildings and units.
Unlike most Real-time strategy games, Knights and Merchants: The Peasants Rebellion only has a single civilization, so all players have the same tech trees to play with.
Adventure game. All the game's events take place in the era of the Middle Ages. You are a captain of the Palace Guard. Be ready to bear the responsibility of defending the last royal province. This is all that remained from the kingdom. There is even the threat to the King's life. The main task of the game is to win all the provinces which belong to the kingdom back. Follow the suggested hints and tutorials to achieve your goal.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
The game's graphics is gorgeous. Enjoy watching realistic landscapes. All the characters and weapons are depicted in a very detailed way. There is a great amount of different types of characters. The movements of military units are depicted in the animated way. The sound effects are standard.
